Hello Everyone,
I created a form to submit a chapbook submission with all the terms and conditions. The link is not publicly shared on the website yet. If you’re interested in us considering one of your chapbooks, please visit this URL:
Before you upload, please make sure to read the details and send me any questions you might have.
I’m working with a few alternatives to Amazon for print copies and ordered a proof copy from one vendor, which is pricey through their service. That allows one change. Any change after that is an additional fee. After three months, they offer a credit to make a change. Again, I’m testing the waters with my personal books to see how it goes and looks. I’ll photograph the copy once received and share it here. Side note, they do have a limitation on the minimum page numbers for paperback copies. I spoke with them, and they assured me they’re working on increasing their services to afford writers more features across different genres.
Regardless, I can use Amazon to publish print copies. For digital, the e-book gets distributed across multiple vendors for wide exposure.
In addition to publishing the Chapbooks, we also market them as part of the value add. They’ll be shared on social media and our main website at writtentales.com. The books will have a link to a landing page where potential buyers can purchase from their favorite platform, which is tracked through Draft2Dgitial for e-book royalties. Only digital books published through their service are awarded a portion of the sale as they pay it out directly. We don’t take part in the payment process. We set the percentage, and they take care of the rest.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out at any time.
Thank you,
Kevin
