The sun is coming out of the shifting white clouds. The sun is coming out, instead of a fire-spitting mouth, a piercing brown-eyed gaze. The sun is neither angry nor sad, just dragging its gold skirt to work the daytime shift. Yet love, I prefer your ice, your flame, any time of the day or night, over the sun's placid glare.
