Last delivery of the day, then he’d head home.
Right at the corner, if he hadn’t braked fast, the car would’ve hit him.
He cursed at the driver and kicked the side mirror.
“Stupid son of a bitch!”
The address for the last delivery was just up ahead. He could almost see the house number.
But the car with the broken mirror got there first.
Handcrafted burger. Fries. Soda. Special house sauce.
All scattered on the asphalt.
Including the delivery guy.
