cabbage white enters
draped in soft white with black accents
she flits about, up then down
relishing in her minimalist
yet elegant style
 
next arriving, skippers dart
with quickness – here, there
the fiery, sachem, umber and sandhill
cloaked in buttery gold raiment
designed for freedom of movement
