I will follow you,
for without you,
I am lost,
like a leaf that has just fallen
to the ground,
the leaf,
though new to the concrete,
somehow already propelled to you,
rolling towards you in the wind.
 
That is how I find my way
in the world,
through your footsteps
on its sinuous paths.
