How much care must I give to bring you into my arms?
How many words should I say to draw you to me?
I may be a turbulent sea,
But I know I can be calmed by your adorable charms.
Come into my world, dear,
And I’ll stay forever near,
Let’s walk together in this light,
Until we are parted by night.
If I could, I would get you the moon on a spoon,
If I could, I would bring the stars your way, singing a melodious tune,
Bring your light to my gloomy room,
And I’ll go the miles to make it bloom.
Let twilight draw us close to watch the sun retreat to its chamber,
Let dawn remind us of the beauty of love,
Unsoiled by time and age, like a dove,
Until our souls transcend into a peaceful night slumber.
