It's been so long 
since I laid eyes on you.
Since I ran in 
and took a deep dive 
into my own beginnings.
Where life and death exist as twins
tumbling in your bottomless heart.

Getting close I hear your voice
a soft hiss that beats the shoreline.
I see you now 
my sweet horizon
blue green waves 
are morning soft 
after a night of fury 
rising to reclaim the beach.
