No holiday trimmings for me this year
the Thanksgiving Turkey and Christmas Feast
now a remembrance of all those past years
so much has changed and never the same
the life that has now been taken away
all been buried in the cemetery of memories
hope, compassion, charity, love, happiness, and dreams
these are the ingredients to feast upon
bundled and packaged with a bright-colored bow
