The Fates and Furies stirred and whirled
They had been ignored
The gods were for the moment favoring
The demon king
Boreas awoke from his peaceful slumber
Disturbed by their clamor
He summoned the Siberian gods
To send their icy cold
Across the Artic into America
A new despot was being crowned
An unbeliever
Boreas forced the wealthy sycophants
To huddle inside the domed structure
While the faithful disciples
Were left out in the cold
And then the newly anointed
Raged and roared about the kingdom
He had inherited
Vowing to make it great again
Boreas spit snow into the southern states
That had chosen this man
And so began their suffering
Boreas swore there would be no respite
From his fury while the unbeliever ruled
The Fates and Furies
Have their own plans
