Ringed with joyous creatures, Â pets encircle, adding sepia tones of memory. Â Falling droplets bejewel me as I seek my freedom. Â Am I able to move about my life? Â A strange hunger engulfs me, as aging slowly compresses my mind. Â Dementia slowly sucks the me from us, and the I of us slowly ebbs away. Â Am I free at last to say goodbye? No one knows, or is any the wiser.
