My eyes misty
clouded with visions
of the past
Torments afflict my dreams
stung by memories
of the king
who bore me
into this world

the baton has been
placed on my palm
and like a new born baby
I dive into tears
looking for solace
I hear the tune
deeply etched in my mind
be a man
for his spirit guides you
