It’s a book, You’ll need to read through the pages, You’ll need to read into the depth of its letters, Then you’ll understand the chaos that walks through the door of its awakening. It’s a river, The tranquillity of its daylight sojourn is not its only aspect, Come to the night of its existence and see its turbulence— A river in two worlds. It’s a voice, It sings songs of hope when awakened by the day, It sings songs of redemption at the wake of night, It’s a voice finding a path through the day and piercing through the darkness of night. It’s a meadow, Lush and colourful during the day, Shadowed and mysterious at night, The meadow blooms and glooms.
