There was a city
somewhere in Anatolia.
The world moved to find it
following the trails of Antiquity.
It hasn’t been found yet and we have
the memories of an unexplored place.
Our minds imagine the golden ages,
the towns we will never live in.
Where do the times go
when they reach unknown places?
The lost cities are in our thoughts,
uncharted territories of ideas,
emerging among mountains of knowledge.
Forgotten names appear among
lines of history. We want to know more
through old languages that are no longer spoken.
Will we ever find Tarhuntašša?
The archaeology of the mind
is still looking for it.
We just hear the echoes of a place
that is still touched by the moonlight.
