Melancholia Street I walk each day down Melancholia Street. There, dusty-haired dandelions sprout through black cracks. The gaping windows of the gray houses expose pale yellow walls. Their inhabitants wear coarse fabrics in dark shades of blue. There is no ocean, just the roaring traffic, by Melancholia Street. Nor is there a lull in the swoosh of cars drowning out my heartbeat.
