Use mumbled calculus to handcuff Belief

Shouting in untrammeled voices

that spray paint graffiti

onto the gates of Heaven

While gilding their bloodstained walls of Hell

The fundies made me choose -

Untrammelled freedom, or the noose

The handcuff chafed

And chaos reigned

Pure maths or calculus – which to lose?

This challenge was tough! Would you say I chickened out because I wrote a 29-word prose poem and used “fundies” to mean fundamentals?

Amidst the fundies and formulas of calculus, there lies a desire for untrammeled thought.

Yet society seems to use handcuff restraints, limiting exploration and discovery.

May we break free.
