Looking out of the night’s window, I could see a shrivelled meadow, I could see a walking shadow, The moon had withdrawn its full glow. Before the day turned into night, I needed to bask in the light, Turn the pages of life when it's bright, Let the trailing tempest take flight. Daylight pages told me of a place, A place hidden from the sun’s rays, A place revealed by Divine grace, It doesn’t comply with our ways. The night came and met a new me, Someone held by the hands of glee.
