As I prepare this new chapbook, I have a question I would like your opinion on. Would you prefer to see the poem/story and then the Q&A, or would you prefer all the poems/stories and then a section with all the Q&A of each author? Each author was presented with 5-7 questions about the piece they wrote and insights into their methods of creative writing.
Option 1 Example:
Title: Author's Name 1 [Poem/Story]
[Interview Questions and Answers]
Title: Author's Name 2 [Poem/Story]
[Interview Questions and Answers]
Option 2 Example:
Title: Author 1 [Poem/Story]
Title: Author 2 [Poem/Story]
Title: Author 3 [Poem/Story] —- New Section: Author Insights (or something along these lines)
The first option keeps everything relative to each author with their perspective.
I really like the first option. The second one would have me turning back to read their work as a refresher before I read their interview. Just my thoughts.
Thank you everyone! Option 1 it is!
Option 1 for same reasons as stated below.
I like 1. It's a better flow to read the po and then hear the poets voice.
I really like the first option. The second one would have me turning back to read their work as a refresher before I read their interview. Just my thoughts.
Thank you.
The first option seems to make the most sense!
I prefer Option 1 for the same reasons stated above.
Also 1
I like option 1. When QA offers insights specific to that poem or story or writer’s style, it’s nice to see that person’s thought as one unit.
I am kind of feeling the same on this one. Thank you.
I like option 1.
First, poem/story. Then the author's note.
Option #1 for me.
Option 1.
Keeping it together seems best (1)
Option1!
Option 1.
Like option 2 as the non-fiction/fiction split, but option 1 would be easier to read, I feel.
I agree that #1 works well.
