To all who have had their story accepted on our platform and have an audio recording of their piece, let us know. We can help and edit the sound and use it for our podcast with you, the author, reading your own work.
All we would need is the mp3 of the piece without background music, your name or title. We will add those in as the introduction to the reading. If you have any questions, please drop them in the comments below, or shoot us an email.
If you are interested, please let us know as we would like to kick off 2023 with podcast poems & stories.
Thank you and we hope everyone will have a blessed and amazing New Year!
I've made 2 mp4 video recordings of myself reading 2 works of mine [ one of them previously published in Written Tales last Summer ], just for your next podcast. How can I send you my mp4 video recordings to you?
Yes, you can go ahead and email me them. I will try to get the form working soon for uploading. Also in the email please include a short bio. Thank you again! Just reply to the initial email of this announcement.
Like I said in my last message, I have only one flash/micro-fiction story posted on Written Tales. It's called "Dilemma, Dilemma" - posted August 25, 2022. I'd like to send you audio for this and an unpublished poem--ideally for the podcast AND for the magazine.
No deadline. I will try to update the submission for as well for this. If you have a piece you want to submit for both written and podcast you can as well. I am open to new work also. I just need a clean audio of accepted work. I like to first read and if accepted, audio to coincide. Thank you and please reach out at anytime. Kevin.
Technically ignorant, and I wrote all of those things after 2013. I'm proud of using 2023 fairly consistently. The year that impressed me was 1999. In "Space 1999" the moon left its orbit to travel space with its earth colony onboard. What went wrong?
I'd be happy to partipate if I can learn how. I'll ask me techy neighbor.
If you need help, let me know also. If you have a mic, quiet place to record it should suffice. You could even use a hand held recorder or your cell phone to record on. I have used them in a pinch when I used to work as a journalist years ago. We can also run a test to check sound quality with short segments.

Sure, please do!
This sounds fun, might see if I can a quiet moment and try it out. 😊
Looking forward to it :)
I'd like to have my work included as part of your Written Tales podcast. To date, I've only submitted one flash/micro-fiction story to you.
Do you have a specific date/deadline you need these podcast literary submissions in by?
